Terms & Conditions

1. DEFINITIONS

1.1 "Nobel Teaching" refers to the tutoring service provider.

1.2 "Client" refers to the parent/guardian who books tutoring sessions on behalf of a student.

1.3 "Student" refers to the individual receiving tutoring services.

1.4 "Tutor" refers to the individual providing the tutoring services on behalf of Nobel Teaching.

1.5 "Session" refers to a scheduled tutoring lesson between a Tutor and a Student.

2. BOOKING AND PAYMENT POLICY

2.1 All sessions must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.

2.2 Full payment is required at least 48 hours before the scheduled session to secure the booking. Unpaid sessions will be automatically cancelled.

2.3 Payments must be made via the designated payment methods as outlined by Nobel Teaching.

2.4 All transactions are final. Payments are non-refundable to respect the time and commitment of our tutors.

3. CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY

3.1 If a Client wishes to reschedule a session, they must provide at least 24 hours' notice. Rescheduling is subject to tutor availability.

3.2 If a session is missed or cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled time, it will be forfeited, and no refunds or credits will be issued.

3.3 Nobel Teaching reserves the right to reschedule sessions due to unforeseen tutor unavailability. In such cases, an alternative session will be arranged.

4. CODE OF CONDUCT

4.1 Nobel Teaching is committed to maintaining a respectful, professional, and safe learning environment.

4.2 Rudeness, offensive behaviour, or harassment towards tutors, students, or Nobel Teaching representatives will not be tolerated. Any such behaviour may result in the immediate termination of services without a refund.

4.3 Students must engage in sessions in a manner that promotes learning. Tutors are not responsible for completing school assignments or guaranteeing academic results.

5. TUTORING SESSIONS

5.1 Sessions will take place via Zoom or another agreed-upon online platform. The Client is responsible for ensuring stable internet connectivity.

5.2 If a student arrives more than 10 minutes late to a scheduled session, the session will be terminated and no refund or rescheduling will be offered.

5.3 Sessions will start and end promptly at the scheduled time. If a Student is late, the session will not be extended.

5.4 If a tutor is late, the time will either be compensated at the end of the session (where possible) or rescheduled at a mutually convenient time.

5.5 For quality control and safeguarding purposes, some sessions may be recorded. By using our services, the Client consents to session recordings.

5.6 Nobel Teaching is not responsible for any technological disruptions beyond our control.

6. LIABILITY AND DISCLAIMER

6.1 Nobel Teaching and its Tutors are not liable for any academic results or performance outcomes.

6.2 Nobel Teaching is not responsible for any damages arising from the use of its services, including but not limited to internet failures, loss of data, or external factors affecting lesson quality.

6.3 The Client acknowledges that tutoring is a supplementary service and does not replace formal schooling.

7. PRIVACY POLICY

7.1 All Client and Student information will be handled in accordance with UK data protection laws.

7.2 Personal information will only be used for the purpose of providing tutoring services and will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent.

7.3 Nobel Teaching reserves the right to collect anonymised data for service improvement and statistical analysis.

8. TERMINATION OF SERVICES

8.1 Nobel Teaching reserves the right to terminate services if:

• Payment is not received on time.

• There is a breach of the Code of Conduct.

• There is consistent non-cooperation from the Student.

8.2 In such cases, no refunds will be issued.

9. CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS

9.1 Nobel Teaching reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.

9.2 Clients will be notified of significant changes via email or through the website.
